Gameweek 11 of the 2023/24 Premier League season kicks off on Saturday lunchtime at Craven Cottage when Fulham host a Manchester United side firmly in crisis mode following two comprehensive defeats in a matter of days.

Erik ten Hag’s side have suffered consecutive 3-0 losses to Manchester City and Newcastle United and there is little sign of a resurgence from this Red Devils team right now.

While Fulham have only won one of their last five league games, Craven Cottage will be filled with fans thinking they have a superb chance at three points against one of the division’s giants.

Here is all you need to know about Man Utd’s trip to face Fulham in the Premier League this weekend.

A number of important players have been missing for Fulham through injury in recent weeks and that is unlikely to change on Saturday afternoon.

Issa Diop, Tosin Adarabioyo, Adama Traore and Kenny Tete were all absent for the Carabao Cup win over Ipswich Town on Wednesday night but there is a small chance Traore and Tete could make it back in time for this game against Man Utd.

Fulham predicted lineup vs Manchester United (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Ream, Bassey, Robinson; Reed, Palhinha; Willian, Pereira, Iwobi; Muniz

Casemiro

Yet another injury was picked up by Man Utd and Ten Hag on Wednesday night in the 3-0 loss against Newcastle, with Casemiro’s return coming too soon as he picked up a fresh problem. He won’t feature against Fulham.

A long list of players remain out, with Luke Shaw, Amad Diallo, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and potentially Raphael Varane all sidelined, but Aaron Wan-Bissaka did make his return in the second half against Newcastle.

Manchester United predicted lineup vs Fulham (4-2-3-1): Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Reguilon; McTominay, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund.

Man Utd had found some sort of form against lesser opposition before the matches against Man City and Newcastle, cobbling together three wins in a row. In normal circumstances, this is the sort of game they would expect to win.

That said, Fulham will be smelling blood and looking to take advantage of the visitors’ many issues. A narrow win is possible, but a draw seems like a logical result here.

Prediction: Fulham 1-1 Manchester United
